Coldmartin is off the A697 Morpeth to Coldstream road, one mile south east of Wooler, at the end of a ‘no through road’. Wooler itself is ideally positioned at the foot of the Cheviots midway between Berwick and Alnwick and is only 11 miles from the magnificent Northumbrian coastline.

Road
Approaching from the South via the A1, take the A697 Coldstream road ot the northern end of the Morpeth bypass. Approximately 1 mile South of Wooler there is a petrol station on the right side of the road. The turn off for Coldmartin is on the right a few hundred yards past the petrol station , follow the signs to the very top of the hill.
From the North, travel 1 mile South of Wooler on the A697. the turn off for Coldmartin is on the left before the petrol station.

Rail
There is a station at Alnmouth which is between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed, 21 miles from Wooler. The station at Berwick upon Tweed is 18 miles from Wooler. Contact us for car hire details.

Air
Wooler is midway between Edinburgh International Airport and Newcastle International Airport, both with numerous car hire facilities.

Sea
55 miles south of Wooler, there is an International Ferry Port at North Shields.
